Genesis Networks helps organizations enforce security policies on all devices seeking network access. By utilizing Network Admission Control (NAC) the organization only allows compliant and trusted endpoint devices, such as PCs, servers, and PDAs, onto the network, restricting the access of noncompliant devices, and thereby limiting the potential damage from emerging security threats and risks. When a computer connects to a computer network, it is not permitted to access anything unless it complies with a set standard, including anti-virus protection level, system update level and configuration. Whilst the computer is being checked by a pre-installed software agent, it can only access resources that can remediate (resolve or update) any issues. Once the standard is met, the computer is able to access network resources and the Internet, within the policies defined in the NAC system. Genesis Networks provides the technology to give organizations a powerful, roles-based method of preventing unauthorized access and improving network resiliency.
